Vehicle History...
This tractor is best known for completing a solo tractor run of 1000 miles from John O’Groats (Northern most point of Scotland) to Lands End (Southern most point of England).
I believe that this tractor was bought new in Congleton, Cheshire and was then brought onto our farm in the late 90’s by my uncle John Pepper as a match ploughing tractor. He competed with it around Staffordshire and Cheshire. It was then purchased by my father and was worked on the from early 2000s predominantly on harrowing and on the turners and in later years, predominantly on the yard scraper.
In 2018 I decided that I would take it on the 1000 mile challenge to raise for Cancer Research.
I have been told that this is one of the very last 25Ds and very close to the following 900 Model.
