Bought this tractor in March 2020 in poor condition from Ramsey (Cambridgeshire) from a feller that had had it about a couple of months but had previously belonged to D Bartrum, once we got it back to the yard we then began to strip it down and start the well overdue restoration.the first start up was in April but later found that it had dropped a valve and melted the piston so the engine had to be completely rebuilt,the back end was completely seized and wouldn’t go into gear.half shaft seals were leaking and needed to be replaced,the panels that were on the tractor were in poor state of repair and the tractor was missing many components.once the engine had been removed I then worked on cleaning the chassis up for paint,this took days of hard work with the grinder and sandblaster, then painted the chassis, then was the time to reassemble after cleaning and painting all the little components.
